I was born and raised in Abilene, Texas, and graduated from Baylor University in 1992 with a degree in Business Finance. While my education provided a strong foundation in business and finance, my career path took an unexpected and rewarding turn when I attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts. For the next 27 years, I built a successful career in the hospitality industry, where I learned the value of exceptional service, strong relationships, attention to detail, and putting people first. My final role was serving as Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage at the prestigious Dallas National Golf Club, where I spent 15 years leading teams, managing operations, and creating memorable experiences for members and guests. In 2021, I retired from the hospitality industry and began a new chapter in mortgage lending. I was drawn to the mortgage business because it offered an opportunity to combine my passion for helping people with my financial background and decades of customer service experience. Today, I bring the same commitment to service, communication, and personalized attention that defined my hospitality career to every client I work with.
